白金漢宮Buckingham Palace

Located in Buckingham Palace Rd, London, SW1, the magnificent Buckingham Palace is the official London residence for the Queen, which also serves as receiving and entertaining guests both from home and abroad on state, ceremonial and official occasions. It was originally built in 1705 for the Duke of Buckingham. However in November 1992, the Windsor Castle got on fire, and since the summer of 1993, part of the palace has been open to the public so that the pay for the damage at Windsor Castle could be raised. But it became unexpected popular, therefore the Queen has continued to allow part of the palace still to be visited every summer,during which period the Queen herself will move to one of her country residences. And when the Queen is at home, her royal flag can be seen, which is flying from the flag pole on top of Buckingham Palace.
