In this 40 square meter seaside resort apartment, the sundeck balcony opens a vista to an ocean view in the distance, a fully fit-out ship's cabin makes for a decent abode after returning from the beach, the ambient décor within is evocative of the journey sailing the wind and riding the waves, yet it also has a placid serenity far away from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis. Small spaces are real challenges to the designers in that they need to have a great sense of room to create a functional space. The best part of this project is its rational function areas and that the space doesn't seem so crowded. The space is filled with blue and white which make it tranquil and natural. The adoption of solid woods takes the sense to another level.

本案是一處僅40平方米的海邊度假公寓，從陽臺的甲板上能看見遠方的海景。五臟俱全的船艙是從海灘回來后的住所，船艙里裝的是乘風破浪的理想與遠離都市的寧靜，讓人放松地在睡夢中揚帆出海。小空間對于設計師來說是一個挑戰(zhàn)——在一個小范圍內打造一個功能齊全的空間，需要很好的空間規(guī)劃能力。本案的成功之處在于它在帶來合理的功能區(qū)的同時，空間也不至于顯得擁擠。以藍色和白色填充空間，為其平添了更多寧靜、自然的感受。大量地運用實木，更是將這種感受推到了一個新的高度。
