The Cuckoo Club, a nightclub and destination restaurant, owned by Unicorn City Ltd and designed by Blacksheep, has opened on the former site of the Stork Rooms in Swallow St, London W1. Once a revered staple of London’s nightlife, favoured by bohemians and aristocracy alike.

The Cuckoo Club offers high-octane rock’n’roll glamour, with an overriding accent on comfort, fun and service. Although entry will not be constricted to members only, the launch committee’s honorary members - invited figures from the worlds of music, fashion, film, art, photography, high society, food and journalism - will subtly set the tone for the club.

The interior configuration has an emphasis on flexibility of use, with easily changeable furniture and feature areas that can also be used for staging private parties or promotional events. "We envisaged the Cuckoo Club as a kind of filmset", explained Tim Mutton, "creating a grand, dramatic, fantasy house with huge doors, sweeping stairs, silk and voile drapes, endlessly reconfigurable LED lighting and lots of fun, statement design features".

室內的布置注重其靈活性，用可移動的家具以及充滿特色的區域圍合成私人俱樂部和集會區。“我們把布谷鳥俱樂部當成電影布景來設計，” Tim Mutton說道，“營造了一種豪華的、充滿戲劇性與幻想的房子，并且有著巨大的門框、樓梯、薄紗窗簾、無數的LED聚光燈，同時也有許多樂趣、特色在其中。”
