《空間運動事件的表達:基于語言類型學和習得角度的研究(英文版)》從語言類型學和一語習得兩個角度對于英漢語中成人及兒童如何表達自動及使動性運動事件進行了大規模實證性研究，旨在回答兩個問題：第一，從空間語言類型學來看，漢語究竟屬于什么類型的語言；第二，在兒童習得本族語的過程中，什么因素起的作用相對更大，是普遍性的認知特征還是語言獨特性因素。
